It can be a faithful reproduction, or your own interpretation of the book's cover. Use any quilting technique you like.
Quilts must be 18" or less... or the size of the actual book!
Email a photo of your book cover to capitaldistrictmqg@gmail.com so we can print it in color and display it next to your quilt.
Submit your finished quilt by June 25th to Amelia’s Garden or to Kirsten Fryer...
… and enter it into a CDMQG QUILT SHOW that will be displayed through the summer at the Brunswick Community Library!
Coincidentally, Quilt Folk magazine is running a BOM program called Patchwork and Prose with the same theme, so if this really strikes your fancy you can also join that program! It starts on March 19th. https://www.quiltfolk.com/product/block-of-the-month-patchwork-and-prose/ Follow that link to signup and to see other examples of book covers made into quilts.
Displayed at the Bethlehem Public Library during our Monthly Meeting.
We look for opportunities to share our work with the community and exhibit our quilts for the public.
